Nov 2015 – Present • Responsible for the community experience within Spiceworks. Continually experimenting and refining the way IT professionals engage with the community content, each other and Spiceworks. Proactively working with others in the product organization to improve collaboration and project success. Working with the Marketing Team on the evolution of our brand across Spiceworks.
July 2012 – Oct 2015 • Responsible for managing and leading a team of designers as they navigate their way through our monthly work-cycle. Help them push themselves, their clients and the software both creatively and technically. Work with clients to uncover the best approach to their online store presence. Work with other departments to keep everyone informed of new developments, services, and changes in process. Develop training opportunities for the team as well as other departments.
Dec 2009 – July 2012 • Responsible for taking client projects from initial concept to delivery. Collaborated closely with clients to determine the look and feel of their their online store presence. Actively pushed to improve our workflow and department structure. Instigated getting time and resources allocated to pushing the limitations of the software, developing new design services, and improving internal workflows. Developed training materials for new design department hires as well as personally on boarded and trained the new hires.
Oct 2008 – Sept 2009 • Created client-facing sites for 9Star Research and ProtectNetwork. Then, translated sites for for Wordpress development.
May 2007 - Sept 2008 • Worked on projects ranging from informational sites for local chiropractors to ecommerce sites for independently owned and operated Chik-fil-A stores.
