Hey, I'm Jamie! I currently serve as a Principal Designer at Spiceworks Ziff-Davis, working remotely. My primary focus is on leading the design for our data products, vital for everything from audience building to campaign reporting. You'll also find my work on the Spiceworks Community, where I create experiences for both IT pros and vendors, plus I contribute to our brand and product marketing efforts. I genuinely love the diverse challenges my role offers, and being engaged throughout the entire design process is key to how I ensure every solution is built around the user.
Experience
Principal Designer, Spiceworks Ziff-Davis
April 2025 – Present
As a Principal Designer, I lead UX/UI efforts and manage another designer, with a primary focus on our data products. These are crucial for empowering sales teams in pre-sales discussions, enabling delivery teams for audience building, and providing client success with robust campaign reporting. I continually research, experiment with, and refine these solutions to ensure they meet critical business needs.
My work also significantly impacts the Spiceworks Community, where I design experiences for both IT professionals and vendors. I'm deeply involved in researching, experimenting with, and refining how IT pros find products, connect with peers and vendors, and troubleshoot issues. Additionally, I contribute to the ongoing development of our design systems and support brand and product marketing for both Spiceworks and Spiceworks Ziff-Davis, always ensuring user needs remain at the center of every solution and fostering strong cross-team collaboration for project success.
